Taking him to the white land of Empathica
of innocence...
Inspired by the opening track for Nightwish's new album Dark Passion Play. The track is called "The Poet and the Pendulum". Amazing (and very long!!!) song, in five parts; this is inspired by the first, which has the same title.
This piece took me blasted FOREVER. I'm still not sure I'm satisfied with it, but it's come far enough that I felt it was worth submitting. It just reeks of symbolism, don't it?
